SPECIAL PRAYERS

Father, in the Name of Jesus, bless me while I'm reading this and open doors in our lives today, Save and set us free!

Give us a double portion of your Spirit as we take back everything that the devil has stolen:

> ****Emotional Health
> ****Physical Health
> ****Finances
> ****Relationships
> ****Children
> ****Jobs
> ****Homes
> ****Marriages

I cancel every plot, plan and scheme the enemy has devised against us in the NAME OF JESUS.

And I declare:
NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST US WILL PROSPER. I speak LIFE into every dead situation. And, I thank you that nothing is over until YOU say it's over! Speak prophetically into our lives and to our situations:

> ****our households are blessed;
> **** our health is blessed;
> **** our marriages are blessed;
> **** our finances are blessed;
> **** our relationships are blessed;
> **** our businesses are blessed;
> **** our jobs are blessed;
> **** our children are blessed;
> **** our grandchildren are blessed;
> **** our parents are blessed;
> **** our siblings are blessed;
> **** our ministries are blessed;
> **** our decisions are blessed;
> **** our friends are blessed.

Mortgages are paid and debts canceled; our hearts' desires are on the way;

According to YOUR perfect will and plan for our lives.

YOU SAID YOU'D NEVER FORSAKE US! IN JESUS' NAME!

AMEN!

Echoes of the Past
PGK Jose J. Baron (1967-1968, 68-69)

“I recall with pride and satisfaction when the Merville Knights showered upon me the honor and privilege to server them as their Grand Knight and allowed me to server them further for two additional terms. While we achieved impressive growth and development in all areas of activities, its was a very enriching and rewarding experience for me. I enjoyed every minute of it.”

Echoes of the Past
PGK Amado V. Romillo (1969-1970)

“ I had the hard task of succeeding a very energetic grand knight, Joe Baron. As far as columbianism is concerned, Brother Joe is an old hand. His departure for the United States left me with various projects to continue. Being a neophyte grand knight made me feel like a square peg in a round hole. But time proved that the KC is a genuine brotherhood of men of goodwill. The support of the officers and members of the council dispersed my apprehensions. 1969 was a year of close fraternal relationship. The Daughters of Isabela made the council’s projects attainable through their whole hearted support.”

Echoes of the Past
PGK Raymundo Soliman (1970-71, 74-75,75-76,76-77)

“ Columbian year 1970-71 gave me the opportunity to lead our Council to meet greater challenges. Not known to many of us, the council was then saddled with unpaid accounts to suppliers used in the completion of our clubhouse. Bro. Morty Altonaga was appointed Chairman of the fund raising committee, who almost singlehandedly was able to raise more that Php15,000 needed to clear our accounts. Its was Brother Nes Roque, our architect, who had been closely working on all these projects. The year ended with greater satisfaction that the council was able to carry out its mission with greater enthusiasm.”

Echoes of the Past
PGK Purito Saba (1971-72, 72-73)

“ The Columbian year 1971-72, 72-73 posed a challenge of sustaining Council 5922 particularly on the goals and programs set for the previous terms more so in cohesiveness and unity. The council reduced its membership but in its place, a new council was born - The Risen Christ Council of Moonwalk subdivision thus earning for the Merville Council its First Founders Award from New Haven. The remaining members of 5922 became a cohesive group and saw their council prod on.”

Echoes of the Past
PGK Romy L. Luat (1973-1974)

“ It was an uphill battle for me to lead the council during the first few months of the Columbian Year, what with the effects of the imposition of Martial Law in 1972. But with grit and determination, God’s blessing and the support and cooperation of the members and their wives, we were able to pursue its mission and selected activities. The Columbian Squires, then dormant was reactivated.”

Echoes of the Past
PGK Conrado B. Punsalan (1977-78, 78-79)

“ 1977-78, 1978-79 were good years. Business was good and the average earners income was quite adequate. Our peso had a good return. This state of affairs made the fulfillment of council projects easier to achieve. Our clubhouse had a facelifting. Shelves for the council’s trophies, a frame for the pictures of members, a bulletin board and other council equipments were acquired. The council hosted its first national golf tournament and our elite team brought national honor to the council. Thru a fund raising campaign, 5922 was able to give our parish an appreciable contribution and the coffers of the council became comforting.”

Echoes of the Past
PGK Enrique H. Manuel (1979-1980)

“ It was my fortune to have been elected Grand Knight at the time that the Philippine KC was celebrating its 75th anniversary last 1979-1980. A set of dedicated officers and cabinet plus the active support and enthusiasm of the membership and their ladies in our program of activities won for our council national and international KC awards, recognition and a personal commendation from our Worthy Supreme Knight.”

Echoes of the Past
PGK Arthur F. Frias (1980-1981)

“ I summarize the year as one of Charity of Love, the one and the same bond by which all other KC virtues are made meaningful. I could cite numerous and varied, programs and projects which manifested the council’s charity towards others and one another but space is the limiting factor. I also believe I might appear as fishing for personal honors, any honors belong to all concerned but above all to God. He gets the honors, we get His blessings. However, it could be said that the love we expressed was weighed heavily toward material aspects. In my book, the one which has the highest rating is non-material, but what I feel is true and brotherly love and charity in the highest order.”
